On July 28th 2001, Michael & Remo were married on the beach in Cherry Grove, on Fire Island, New York, USA by Father Charles Whipple surrounded by loving family and friends. At first their marriage was purely symbolic, but later it was sanctioned by the Episcopal Church but not by the State of New York. This line on their marriage certificate is crossed out.
