Veteran actor Mohanlal joins hands with thespian director Shaji N Karun for his next film ‘Gaatha’.Based on T Padmanabhan’s short story ‘Kadal, the shooting of the film is expected to commence in early 2010 in Ladakh. Reneto Berto who also wielded the camera for Shaji’s celebrated ‘Vanaprastham’ would be the cinematographer for the film.
Shaji is now ready with his Mammootty starrer ‘Kutty Sranku’, that had recently premiered at the Montreal film festival. ‘Kutty Sranku’ is also Malayalam’s sole entry into the Panaorama selection this year.
